The main influence on me to do Twitter the way I do it was @adtothebone.
I still think he is one of the best writers on there.
While other people chase whatever eclat they think they can claim, he’s remained faithful to his voice.
And reading him inspired me to just do what I wanted to do.
Now, I do more of it than he does.
And often more blunt or dumb.
But as formative inspirations go, I think I chose well.
Besides, it was following him that led me to meeting Danagel.
So there you go.
Anyway, I doubt I’d be where I am on Twitter - tweet volume, tweet style or number of followers - had I not been encouraged to express myself by seeing someone else do it.
And if you’re going to pick any role model, you may as well go with someone who doesn’t constantly tweet poop jokes.
